Health screening can be an inaccurate science, which may provoke unnecessary investigation and anxiety, so we aim to use our medical expertise to guide you in that process.
A one-hour appointment will include an assessment of your physical and mental health, lifestyle, and fitness, as well as a physical examination.
Blood tests and further health screening tailored to your needs will be discussed and arranged according to your individual needs, and for an additional fee.
Female health assessment
For women, this may include:
- Blood tests including full blood count, kidney, liver, diabetes, cholesterol, vitamin D, calcium, thyroid function tests
- Breast screening
- Sexually transmitted disease screen
- Menopause screen
- Ovarian cancer screen
- Colon cancer screen
- Cardiovascular screen including your Q Risk Score. This is assessing your risk of having a heart attack or stroke in the next 10 years. In addition, you may need further testing such as: an exercise ECG, Echocardiogram, Coronary Calcium Scan
- Osteoporosis/bone density screen
