DR JONATHAN THAM
Jonathan loves working together and learning from his patients, valuing the trust that comes from continuity of care.
Having trained in Cambridge and London, and worked for several years in a busy South London practice, Jonathan moved to Dorset in 2023 where he continues to work as an NHS GP. He values continuity and has always sought long term positions that allow him to get to know his community.
He values the extra time and flexibility that a consultation at WPGP can offer, believing no-one should ever feel rushed with their doctor.
Jonathan has worked in a variety of specialties as part of his training, including colorectal, vascular and gynaecology, as well as non-surgical placements in paediatrics, psychiatry and gastroenterology. Before qualifying as a GP, he also spent a year working in children’s A&E. He specialises in sleep problems, offering treatment for insomnia, and collaborating with WPGP to set up a sleep clinic.
He is a father of two, who can aften be found in the garden tending to his flowers and vegetables.
